Blair Hines + Michael Wasser joined forces in 2002 to form Hines|Wasser + Associates. Established landscape architects, they each bring more than 23 years of professional experience to the partnership. They have created a studio atmosphere that fosters interaction among a talented staff and collaboration with architects, design professionals and clients. The result: A very personal approach to providing innovative design solutions and comprehensive project management.

Blair Hines
Prior to Hines|Wasser + Associates, Blair worked as an associate with The Halvorson Design Partnership. His wide-ranging experience has included open-space planning, historic cemeteries and design for academic institutions, botanic gardens and commercial developments. Blair’s strengths: His highly regarded project management skills, imagination and an ability to help clients maximize the potential of a site.

Michael Wasser
Prior to Hines|Wasser + Associates, Michael worked as a senior design consultant for a number of award-winning firms in the Boston area. His work has included site planning and design for urban settings, parks, corporate campuses, commercial developments, academic institutions, residential estates and equestrian farms. Michael’s strengths: Defining a strong project identity in the context of a site’s existing architecture and landscape, and unifying distinct design elements.
