A Cultural Landscape Report and landscape master plan were prepared to document the history of this 1.8-acre site in the center of Jamaica Plain and to address historic character, adaptation for public use, and maintenance. Preservation challenges included making necessary changes while protecting the archaeologically sensitive historic site and rehabilitation of historic gardens and landscape features where specific documentation was lacking for a full restoration.
